My first collage- lovingly saved by my mother.

 Art (visual, theatre, dance and writing) has always been an urge, a drive, almost a necessity for me. Through art making I  play with piecing together the dichotomies of life.

I use  inks, watercolors, pastels, oils, acrylics, pencils, graphite , paper maché, and found objects but primarily I use water based mediums on paper.  For me, water most vividly demonstrates the properties of movement and change. With brush and water I play with the current between things : between internal and external landscape , animal and human, matter and spirit.

Nature in all its manifestations- from the microcosm to the macrocosm, every cell and being, every tree and stone, every thought and emotion, every dream and movement.
